StockerYale’s EDF-T10 is an all purpose erbium-doped fiber, currently used in a wide variety of amplifier designs. Our unique, proprietary doping method provides a number of measurable advantages. These include low OH content (<0.25 ppm), a homogeneous glass matrix (for low clustering, high conversion efficiency, and consistency), and the ability to control aluminum content with a high degree of precision. Tight control over aluminum allows us to maintain consistent gain spectra from batch to batch.
