Custom-Engineered LED Solutions
Our goal: best value for OEM clients
StockerYale designs and manufactures LED-based illuminators for custom OEM applications. We serve a wide range of industries including machine vision, biomedical and security ID. Our team includes LED array design engineers, a production group, and an optics R&D group. StockerYale's capabilities include various optical computer simulation tools and advanced proprietary LED test and measurement methods.
When designing LED-based illumination solutions for our OEM clients, we do not limit ourselves to any one assembly method. Rather, we draw from our assembly tool kit on a case-by-case basis, incorporating various types of LED building blocks to construct the most suitable, cost-effective solution for your application. These LED building blocks include:
- Individually packaged and lensed LEDs (standard t-packs and surface mount devices)
- Chip-on-board LEDs
- StockerYale's proprietary COBRA (chip-on-board reflective array)
The different approaches will be discussed and compared below.
For a given application, StockerYale selects the appropriate LED building block, substrate and optics so as to provide you with the right price/performance combination and, therefore, with maximum value.
